Recommended Improvement to TurboTax

When I initially start to prepare a tax return, I get asked various helpful questions (and get referred to additional tax documents/reference information), BUT if I save the file and come back to it later---these questions/prompts are no longer available. It is very frustrating that this helpful information disappears after "saving" a file.
EXAMPLES:
1) When inputting information on IRA accounts, was asked if/how much RMD's were automatically withdrawn. When I went back later (after confirming these $ amounts), I could no longer find where to enter this information; and was never asked for it again when finalizing return for submittal.
2) I prepared a "dummy" return to try and get an estimate on capital gains that might be incurred with upcoming potential sale of parent's home. Tool initially asked may questions and provided great guidance on Cost Basis, what could be claimed, etc....but when I returned days later with more detailed $ estimates these "questions/reference information" could no longer be found.

Usual TurboTax return

Every year its the same thing. Always have to scroll to the bottom of the screen to get the "next" or "continue" button, can't find some thing specific when needed (eg, I was unemployed where can I put in my deductions for looking for work? Job expenses ... sure but that asks about the employed costs, not the cause while unempoyed

This year Turbo Tax was not friendly to me, have problems to get my income forms accepted, I filled all forms correctly and the program keep asking for verivications

Why I went back to TurboTax and will Stay!

Overall using TurboTax guide me feature made doing my Federal and State Tax return fairly easy since I did not have a complication tax situation. Guiding me through the process and reading about all the options (even the ones that did not apply to me) and help explanations helped me understand the preparation process where I learned a lot. It made me feel like I could prepare other people's tax returns (as long as they were not too complicated with out of state income, sale of property, child credits, rental income and expenses, etc.). Overall I found out why I used TurboTax previously when I had a more complicated tax scenario. Last year I used H&R Block Tax preparation software and I found their software really lacking in features and information, unless you paid for their expert advice to confirm what you more or less thought was the correct information. I will not use that software in the future.
