The CA state tax just didn't launch after try all these.

Turbo Tax was frustrating

Very frustrating! I completed my taxes for my mom and had major issues in trying to print out her CA state tax forms. The formatting was horrible and couldn't read most of it as it had symbols, letters, numbers all over. I spoke with an agent and after an hour, she was able to help me figure out how to print it normally. We had to open up the document in chrome. First time I have had issues, and it was so frustrating and took forever to get to speak with a person because the automated system just kept circling me through.

Turbo tax 2024 is worse than ever

There is bug with Turbo tax this year. I kept getting error, and I can't pass through.
Redo over error go away, then it popup different error. Turbo tax is worse than ever. I might considering not using software going forward. Cause so much time to trouble shoot

Turbo Tax - Much Harder This Year!

My taxes were much more difficult to do this year than previous years. The program took the information from my 1099 Misc for my Ford Legal Services plan and somehow thought that I was providing legal services as a part of my business, (I have no business)! It asked for all kinds of unnecessary information and then wouldn't move on until I entered an EIN, which of course I did not have. I wasted about 30+ minutes just trying to find a work around, just a bad design!
When I went to put in my credit card info for payment the continue button was off the bottom of the screen so it wouldn't allow me to continue and finalize my returns. Another 30 minutes for a work around. I have not had these problems in the past. Sometimes changes are not good!

Frustrated in Montana

It's frustrating that many things don't transfer from year to year and the preparer is required to go find the prior return to fill in.
Montana return is lacking - there is no way to enter federal tax free interest that is taxable in Montana except as an "other addition"
