turbo tax is not as good as it used to be.

the live experts were good I was disappointed with the software glitches most of the problems involved residing in two different states

All was perfect until I didn't want to e-file my state return. the screens don't let me print a non e-file version of the return for the state. I am ticked off as I want to file this right now, and I have to wait until I get a non-efile version for my California state return.

Our taxes are so straightforward - every time I go to a box store to have someone prep them it's WAY more expensive. A couple of hours and I get the same number through turbotax. And the last time I had an accountant look at everything, they were equally expensive AND I had to submit all my stuff through a pain in the butt portal AND they got behind and wanted to file an extension. This is easier.
