Even though i reported Non Resident for RI for my Daughter.
TurboTax insisted for a city and gave me no option, but to not report at all because she had no income from RI. Her legal address is RI but lives in India

Turbo Tax online help

Online help was very good. The tax forms were more difficult to follow this and online help was a blessing

Great Year After Year!

TurboTax worked for me again this year! The only negative is that it asks for information not provided on certain forms, like the K-1. You can't fill in a worksheet with information that's not provided and, in this case, did not impact the tax due at all. If not for that, I would give 5 stars.

You pay for software and still have to pay more.

You spend about $70 for the software and then you still have to pay another $25.00 to Turbo tax to e--File with the state.

It was okay. I wish there was a "select standard deductions" option so you could skip deductions when you know they are less than the standard deduction. Or, if the option exists it was not evident by the prompts.

Turbo Tax

Turbo Tax is a great product. It does my taxes easily and without an uncomfortable outcome, for me there is too much nagging to buy this or that when one is trying to make sure every entry is correct while making entries on the forms. And when one buys the Live Advice, you only get one attempt at using it. No options to recover previous service purchases thus one has to make multiple purchases.
