Not as good as it used to be

I don't like the newer version of TurboTax. The older versions were better. In the current version we had times where it would indicate that something needed to be reviewed but TurboTax did not indicate in any manner what the issue or missing information was. Also there was an area where I was required to explain where a particular amount came from. The calculation was made by TurboTax so why doesn't TurboTax answer the question. It was difficult to search through our tax return to determine where the particular number (in this case it was a credit for an HSA account contribution.
Also, even though we had foreign taxes withheld on some investment accounts I don't believe that TurboTax queried about taking the foreign tax credit. I had to search for the area to input this information. Because the foreign taxes were not queried, I believe I missed taking the foreign tax credit altogether on my 2023 tax return. Not sure whether it's worth filing an amended return for 2023 but very disappointed.
I think your people are changing things just for the sake of changing things and not necessarily an improvement.

Turbo Tax can't do state tax return!

During my review of 2024 state tax return, I noticed that Turbo Tax did not deduct/subtract my treasury bill interest income of $6,291.64 from my 2023 state total tax income. This is terrible and I can't trust Tubo Tax to do my state tax return.

BEEN USING FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. TAX SOFTWARE WORKS GREAT FOR MY LEVEL OF FILING. THE INRUIT WEB SITE IS MUCH MORE DIFFICULT TO NAVIGATE THAN THE SOFTWARE.
