TurboTax was less than Awesome

I have had no complaints for years, but this year, because circumstances took me from the point where all but one year I had recieved a refund, to now owing an amount that I need to set up payments. TurboTax rightly directed me to go online with the IRS to set up payments as the cheepest, however provided no bypass to do just that.
The software seemed to be forcing me to fill out the payment form in TurboTax. It was only after selecting "I'll mail the payment" (found only by a community response), which I have no intention of doing, was I able to advance to file the return. Then the next page had a pop-up a notice telling me I needed to print and send documents. This threw me into another tailspin after having already e-filed the docs. Only after an hour of distraction in the community forum did I find it only was for one page to send with a check -as on the community forum, people were talking about having to print and send the whole return! This location needs a button to bypass the form and just file the return -for those who intend to (after recieving an amount due from the IRS as directed) set up payments with the IRS directly online!

not as good as last years version

The program is more dificult to use than last years program. Have not been able to get it to e-file the state tax. It send me in circles.

I have been using Turbotax for years now with much success. The people that work in the customer service are always extremely helpful and I can't thank them enough for helping this tech-challenged "older person" with getting taxes done in a reasonable time. It walks you through every step and explains the steps if you don't understand. It's much easier than doing it by yourself and it's reasonable for what it does. Thank you to Turboxtax and the representatives. It makes my life much easier every year.

I've been using for TurboTax forever. This year it didn't automatically pick up anything from 2023 even though I'm using the same computer. Had to call for help. It always did it before. If I was supposed to do it myself this time, it wasn't made clear. Found myself entering data all over again.
