Ok, but when you go thru step by step default to the entries the user made the FIRST time the user entered the date. Also, let users when going back to topic to jump to the dollar amounts they entered. When filling out payment form default to the users address.

Redesigned 1099 import process is awful - BEWARE!

After using Turbotax for around 30 years I was was very disappointed with the redesigned 1099 import process this year. The large text bubble format made it difficult to tell what 1099s I had actually imported and verified. I will not buy Turbotax again without confirming that the 1099 import process has been restored to the simple tabular summary style of all preceding years.

Ripoff, new hidden fees

This is such a ripoff, they have a lot of 'hidden fees' that you are already invested into paying. I do not recommend. It cost me almost $200 to file my state and federal taxes myself, with basic W2's. There was a $90 e-filing charge in addition to the price of the software. There has to be a better option.

Good For Non-exceptional Filings

Easy to use and good if you do not have any thing out of the ordinary. I did have a question about one form for which Turbo Tax did not have a space for a response. I tried "chat" but it was of no assistance, I had another issue and figuredit out on my own.
Pros: My employment status changed this year
