Disappointed in Print copy

Disappointed in the print feature of TurboTax this year. It prints it from a pdf file and there is a bunch of "gibberish" and the data does not line up with the form. Never had this problem in past years.

Turbo Tax is on the decline

Did not like being forced to use a download to get the software. I prefer the CDs, The link to Acrobat was a joke and i never successfully signed in for a new account. Again, forced to use Acrobat to print was a nightmare.

TurboTax is mostly good, but ... glitchy.

All went well for the most part, but a glitch midway when the program shut down - and worse! - at the end! I can't tell if I completed the filing or not! As I filed the state and paid for the state fee, the program stopped working when I clicked on my state. No option to say "ok" or "continue" ... When I went back in, the program wants to start over again. I have a receipt stating I paid for the state, but can't tell if my taxes were actually filed.

I've used TurboTax since 1997. It's a tool I use to help me manage my finances. My son joined Intuit and worked on TurboTax (Initially MacInTax for the Mac) after graduating from UCSD with a BS in Computer Science in 1995. Initially, he developed the installation software for TurboTax. Then in 1998, he had responsibility for implementing its revised user interface. He left Intuit in 2002 (to travel the world and meet his wife) and today works for Adobe in the Bay Area. And does he do his own taxes today? Of course!! With TurboTax!!!

Great program

The only problem I did not like was that I made a mistake entering the state tax withheld, but the initial checks di not catch it. The program only found the error when I was e-filing. Why did it not find it during the earlier error checks?

TurbotTax my not be my choice next year

The program started to make questions unnecessarily complicated and not sufficiently detailed pushing people to purchase live services. I the past questions were clear and explained details of tax rules.
