New not always better

I have used TurboTax for decades. This year they changed the views of investments, lumping them together. I liked the previous versions with separate interest, dividends, and sales.

Mixed results

Overall experience was pretty good, but very repetitive when entering multiple items within a category. Is it really necessary to make the user check all the same boxes for every entry? Also, the product needs better integration with Edward Jones. Last year's version worked pretty well, but this year many of the investment details didn't transfer, requiring lots of updating by hand.

Annoying additional confusing fee

As we completed our taxes there was an option to have the added fee for state e-fling to be deducted from our federal refund. However there was a $40 fee attached to this. It took some time to figure out why this was the case and how to avoid it (by using a credit card to pay for the additional state filing fee).
