Not exactly trustworthy

Don't trust the software this year (2024 filing). Before I entered ANY documents AT ALL, the Federal return showed we owed $450.00 (which surprisingly is also the amount showing that we owed at the end!) Also, when I put in the amount I was adding to an IRA this year ($2000), the calculaion showed the we owed MORE in our tax debt. This is an incorrect calculation, as adding to an IRA should LOWER tax debt. I will probably file an amended return, since I KNOW these calculations are suspect.

After many years of failure, the Minnesota Property Tax Refund is at last correct. The format changes were confusing. Some information did not transfer from the previous year or transferred twice.

I was displeased when I tried to file my state return manually. You have no way to push a button and just get teh state return printed for a manual filing. Tax Cut has that.
