Very easy step by step filing by interview. In the rare case when the interview questions are off target, one can open a specific form and directly edit the entries line by line.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

Turbo tax is costing more but improving less

I am a long time Turbotax desktop user and the has been progressively taking longer to figure out where items are hidden. My tax situation has been getting easier but taking longer to figure out. One example that I spent hours working out which could have been saved by a couple of prompts. I'm in CA and have community property. There should have been prompts to ask which State and our separation date. The separation date is what California uses to determine community property, income, taxes vs separate property income, taxes. Also selling my email for submitting a survey doesn't help your case (lame). Should have the ability to opt out at submittal.
