'1099-NEC nightmare

Very difficult to enter 1099-NEC info which automatically generates a Schedule C which is extremely confusing to people like me, a home health nurse. I don't consider this "owning a business." Also unclear what "address" should be entered on the Schedule C, my employer or my home?? To further complicate matters, it defaults back to 1099-MISC, on the "home" screen when you go to review things. Without the phone help of a wonderful guy I would have never got these done. And, I don't even know how I got to an actual person. I "chatted" and bounced around from help, to Intuit, and beyond until I FINALLY got an actual human being. It should be much easier than that when the problem one has is not of the "usual" kind that AI sends you to. I do my taxes this way to save money and because it's supposed to be "easy." I hope these kinks get worked out for next year.

Refund processing fee.

The $40.00 refund processing fee is ridiculous. If I had not called support to figure out how to not pay for this, I would have been suckered too. Software is not friendly enough to say that if you pay for the filing fee via credit card, you won't have to pay the refund processing fee.
Pros: My employment status changed this year
