not enough effort on the state software

Federal program was okay but the state program didn't work. We had to go to the forms and enter the data directly after much distress.
Also the charge for filing the state sucks even more when we spend lots of extra time trying to make it work with my credit card.
The "123 Main Street" address on the credit card billing address fix is ridiculous. Too funny but let people know so 43we don't get annoyed trying over and over with different cards etc.

Has lots of glitches that need fixing!

I have used Turbo Tax for many years, and I keep noticing it has several glitches, often times it skips important steps or questions even when you ask it to guide you. I had my taxes rejected because it completely failed to ask about form 1095a information. I also dislike that you have to enter bank information twice for Fed and State. I used a different method for another tax return, and it was much simpler, and cost was minimal. Thinking about switching next year as I am not satisfied due to the glitches.

Tax prep is great, web maneuverability stinks!

The software itself is great, but the sign in process took much longer than it should have, due to software errors. In addition, the license code pop up box did not appear in the first few times I had signed in. I had to re-launch the program. The downloaded program via the license would freeze, so I used the online version, but had to switch back to the downloaded program to use the license I already purchased and not be charged a fee again.

I made an error on my original filing and had to file an amended return. Turbotax made this process easy to understand and walked me through the entire process. They correctly included the original refund I received in error and the revised amount due in the total amount to be submitted.
