TurboTax for Windows disappointing for 2024.

TurboTax 2024 was disappointing this year. The windows version had a problem where it believed I was already logged on. There have been several posts online that indicated the same problem without an easy fix. These kinds of problems should be addressed more easily than having to call a Intuit representative to remotely log into my computer. Of course I did not allow this. Luckily I also have a Mac and was able to finish my taxes this way. I hope this does not happen again next year.

Solid tax software product

Turbo Tax continues to be a solid product that I feel confident in the output. My only complaint is that there is some information I need to enter year-over-year that should be easily saved and carried over by the software. I also don't like that I have to write a review. This should be optional, or at least more clear how to opt-out.

Still some bugs in MN filing

catch 22, M15 asks for employers' numbers and keeps giving me an error. I have to file by postal. I'm retired. It says retired in my personal setup, but I can't put in an employer's number if I'm not employed.

Turbo Tax suggestions

!. I don't like having to update Turbo Tax every time it's launched. Also, there should be a place where you can enter taxes withheld from and RMD on the Estimated Tax section.

Works, but too expensive

Decent product, but price is too high. Very little changes each year. After many years using, you should get a discount. The only reason I still use it is the import of data from the last year.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

Everything went smoothly, except when I tried to pay the state taxes e-filing.
I kept getting an "billing address" error message. Finally I tried a different card and it worked.

bring back the CD

Took me weeks to install product because of the security and having to have an account. System told me I already had an account when your system only had my email address. Took forever to get this resolved and the process was not smooth or documented. The experience was so bad that I don't trust your coders as they could not get a simple installing the software right. Probably will not buy this software again.
