Turbo Tax misleads at end charges asking bank inf

I did not like the free Fed return and at the end, there was a $50 fee to file.

Used to be easy

Not so easy anymore. Tried to e-file both federal and state. Found outrageous charge for state. Tried to take it out of federal but found no way to eliminate Premium Turbo Tax fees. Attempted to print state to mail in instead. It printed "copy for my records" I guess, no address to mail return to. Had to go back and click to not file anything by e-file. Finally printed correct state forms for mailing. 20 year user of Turbo Tax...why?

Very buggy

Lots of bugs in this version this year. Checkboxes were pre-filled when they didn't apply. I tried to uncheck it and could not. I ended up checking a different box, advancing to the next page and then returning to the previous page just to uncheck the box. After transmitting our returns, we received notices that they were rejected. After investigation, the Affordable Care Act forms were missing. We were never prompted to answer this question in the software, so I had to search for that box to check that it did not apply to our returns. Too buggy that I will likely rethink using this software next year. Actually, this is giving me really good reason to get a second or third review from another source.

Good for Federal, not for NY State NR/ Fl Res

Overall a good product for Federal return. Weak if you are a resident of Florida having to file a second home sale in NY . Paid additional to get the State version with Federal. It could not send it electronically for NY. I would have purchased only the Federal if I knew this. Also the software tried to charge me for a Florida return which was not needed.
