Great product for taxes

I really like using Turbo Tax. It makes doing my taxes so easy. If I can make a suggestion though, when you are done with a section, rather than having to scroll down to hit the continue button, why not make that page go to the continue button to save scrolling? Other than that, everything else is just fine.

Turbo recommended improvements

01. The new UI for dividends and interest is cumbersome, not clear, not user friendly. The old UI where you go line by line for each person was MUCH better. The "kludgyness" almost cost us LOTS of money had we not caught the error. The software did not catch the obvious error.
02. Some very basic info that Turbo had from the Federal side (capital loss carryover) again this year did not carry over to the state side. That almost cost us $500. Again, we have to manually inspect each line to catch turbo errors. Next year we likely will buy just the federal and not the state (Wisconsin). We end up doing it manually anyway.

The program asked a number of times to help file a state return. Washington does not need that. Program should know and not offer to file a $25 state return that doesn't exist.

TurboTax maker Intuit spent millions in record lobbying. Intuit is the reason our taxes are complicated and have to be filed by a third party.
