Easy, simplified tax filing

I have used TurboTax for many years. Granted, I have a fairly simple tax situation, but the Deluxe version of Federal and State Tax software from TurboTax takes care of everything I need. We are able to transfer basic data from one year to the next so it really simplifies filing!!! I just took us less than 90 minutes to finish filing, applying for rebates, paying what's owed to the State. The hard part is finding the file folder with all our tax info in it.

Prepare & File Amended Federal Return–Desktop

I used the Desktop (download) Version of TurboTax. I needed to file an amended return because I received another tax document after I filed my Federal return. I was unable to find the details online, but I started TurboTax and was able to find the way to prepare and file the amended return in the Topic List.

USE TURBO- KNOWING YOUR TAXES ARE FILED CORRECTLY

This was my first experience with Turbo. My husband has used it for the last four years and still it functions great. I was stuck at one point and a young lady by the name of Jazz was wonderful in helping me out. You phone support is fantastic. Thanks for hiring wonderful folks.

Unable to efile California.

I was unable to efile the California return..There is a glitch that wouldn't allow me to go to Intuit to pay. I spent several hours on this and finally went to mail the return. Very frustrating!

FIX YOUR ROUNDING

FIX THE ROUNDING!!! If there are 10 transactions downloaded, round the RESULT NOT EACH TRANSACTION. It creates differences, which can be large if there are many transactions. When I file taxes, I expect accuracy. Turbo Tax download results are not accurate. The downloaded figures which are incorrectly rounded don't tie in with the 1099B's, especially the totals. You may say the IRS accepts this, but there are limits. And numerous transactions producing large rounding differences subject returns to unnecessary questioning by the taxing authorities. ROUND RESULTS NOT INDIVIDUAL TRANSACTIONS. PLEASE.
