Turbo Tax is excellent!

Every year Turbo Tax makes it easier to use. It's great using user friendly software that even a Senior can understand.

you tried to overcharge by $45.00 not sure if you did anyway. forgot the prepay plus 10 dollar credit.
Also thought I save time not choosing take me through all entries but was unclear how to do it. I had to double check entries. missed some entries.

Unfortunate experience with a great program

I'm a long-time user of Turbo Tax (14+ years) and this is the first year that required download (vs. CD installation). Getting the program to load properly took 1.5hrs on the phone with a TT rep after spending multiple sessions of research and attempts. The program once loaded would not update properly and would lock up. Applying the "super patch" did not resolve the issue and several Saturday mornings were devoted to working with TT reps for multiple hours in trying to get the program to do an update. As an aside, the customer support folks were diligent in trying to help and were very courteous over our extended discussions / investigations.
There were several lessons learned in finding ways to overcome the issues with the program. My hope is that Intuit will apply the lessons learned so that this doesn't occur going forward.
I have never had any issues with the TT software over the many years that I've used it. My previous additions were always loaded from CDs, but I don't believe that the problems encountered were related to downloading the program. I will use TT again next year but will transition to an alternate tax software package if I have a similar experience.

Easy and Efficient

Easy to use and walks you thru every section. Like the option to review all sections and then go back on sections you want to review separately.
