Dificult to purchase a license code online

It took me 45 minutes to figure out how to purchase a desktop license form the turbo tax website.
However my father started his taxes online using turbo tax and because I was able to import last years taxes and information from my computer I finished 10 minutes sooner than he did.
He used the online version because he couldn't figure out where to purchase a license code from the website.
please make it easier to purchase a license code from the website next year.

State software comes up a bit short

I have used TurboTax for about 20 years. In general, it is an outstanding product. One deficiency continues to stand out: the software for the Alabama state processing always leaves something to be desired. It has improved in terms of using data already entered and used in the Federal form. But as the software completes the state form, the user has to be well informed about Alabama taxes because so much of the process is hidden. I am well informed myself, but I have to spend a lot of time looking at the final completion to feel sure that all the peculiarities of the state forms are correct. This is especially the case as to income exclusions, such as Retirement System and Social Security income. It would be nice to have a summary table comparing which types of income were counted in Federal and State returns.

Anxiety while amending return
