Disappointed with Online Version vs. Disk

Very disappointed. I was a long time user, using the disc for my PC. First time using online version vs. disk. Prefer the disk. The email confirming I paid had a link but the link didn't work to launch. I had to search online to find out how to launch. Took too long to download (I have high speed internet). Disk version was faster. Printing was an issue. I saved my documents to my desktop computer but they won't open with program running to check document. I may not use Turbo Tax in the future.

Get with the Program TurboTax!

Much of the information should be in the TurboTax information and NOT have to be rekeyed. Like the NYS education credit. Name & Address ect all was entered in the federal return but had to be rekeyed for state. ALSO the PITA NYS driver license gets keyed each year. It should be stored in TurboTax data and just confirmed each year

Turbo Tax Improving

While TTD ease of use has improved through the years, several line item entries at the tax form level are still required to successfully complete the State (LA, MS) returns.

Good, But Has Many Glitches Which Require a Call

Overall a good system, but there are still a number of software glitches which have not been corrected as far back as 2013. TT forums clearly spell out many issues which have not been corrected. I had to call and talk to one of the TT Tax Attorneys who explained the issue, and he mentioned he is seeing a number of these glitches which appear and cause concerns that make clients like myself call to clear up. One specific glitch causes a form 5329 to be created due to distribution code errors from the 1099-R.

Great product but minor issues this year

I have over 10 years of experience using Turbo Tax. Installation was a bit glitchy at first. Rebooted my Windows 11 Surface Pro and got it to work fine. There was also an issue entering Medical Expenses for Doctors/Professional expenses. I entered the amount in services instead. In the end the point was moot as the standard deduction was my final choice.
