TURBO TAX NOW REQUIRES KNOWING YOUR PHYSICAL LOCATION TO INSTALL THE SOFTWARE ON YOUR COMPUTER. THAT IS LAUGHABLE WHEN THEY ALREADY KNOW THAT EACH LICENSE CODE CAN ONLY BE USED ONCE. THEY OBVIOUSLY HAVE NO NEED TO KNOW WHERE I AM LOCATED WHEN INSTALLING; OTHER THAN FOR THEIR OWN ANALYTICS AND SELLING THE INSIGHTS.

Product is great and simple to use. Your AI phone help line when I was trying to figure out how to pay for the downloaded software is terrible. It should be more simple to connect with and talk to a human.

Love it except the mutual fund foreign tax credit

I love this product! The one annoyance is that I have mutual funds apparently where the foreign tax credit applies. The section that asks you to input RIC for each one is very difficult to navigate. First, I import all info from my account, so I don't know how many foreign countries are involved on which funds. The listing states mark RIC for mutual funds but then I am doing that for -- no joke -- 10 minutes and never saw the end of the list. Why isn't the program able to mark a box to say "all are mutual funds" and then select one RIC definition?

TurboTax upfront work on which version to buy

For a return filed for a deceased individual, TurboTax first charges my credit card for eFiling a state tax return, then runs me around in a circle with the same result: "Must file by mail." Also, TurboTax always seems to miss entries during input & then, hopefully, picks up the errors later. TurboTax is also unclear on which versions cover which tax situations (e.g., filing for deceased person, filing for an estate, etc.).
