There Are Some Software & Screen Glitches.

Turbo Tax Deluxe would not recognize my CSA Federal Retirement CSRS R1099 kept mislabeling it, which cause my OPM pension (in lieu of social security) to show up as taxable income on my State Return., I had redo my Federal Return 3 times before I caught it in the small 5 pitch (had to use a magnifying glass) 1040 form window scree that ask me to confirm my state ID number while barely showing the tippy top of blue box on screen (which asked to firm my R1099 was not a CSA. I un-click this ERROR (as I had originally input it as a qualified CAS type pension) everything straighten itself out.
Then when I did not go for over price UP-SALE state e-file so it Turbo would NOT let me select how I wanted my return it defaulted to a DEBIT card rather than to my bank account. I've tried twice to change this inside of TurboTax but there is NOT a screen for State to change this. I'll just print it out and do manual Pen and Ink change, I guess. DARN that won't work as my state only scans the QR code at the top of the return and does not look for Pen and Ink changes....................... GERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I found the tax software to be complete and relatively easy to use. Lots of instructions and guidance where needed. I was able to complete both Federal and state tax returns in one day. I received IRS confirmation of both receipt and finally acceptance the same evening.
