I can use without help.. Biggest selling point. feel you should make full costs available up front ie did not know about e-filing costs until they showed up. This is misleading.

Buying State Does Not Mean State Filing (UGH!)

I thought I had purchased Federal and State taxes, but I see you snuck in a $25 fee for filing State. I have used TurboTax for over ten years but won't be doing so next year.

As I mentiond before, I have been using TurboTax for 20 years, and before that there was a MaxTax, or something like that for Apple users. I have tried some other tax programs, but they are not as good as TurboTax. I will continue to use TurboTax as long as I live, which unfortunately may not be all that long. I will be 87 in April and maybe live to 90 in the next 3 years.

Windows 11 issues.

TurboTax 2024 would not run on my Windows 11 Pro laptop not matter what was tried. Crashed from the first installation and every reinstall after that and including installing super patches and compatability mode. TT2023 and TT2022 installed and run fine on Windows 11. TT 2024 ran great on a Windows 10 Pro workstation so I had to use that computer to do my taxes this year.
