Turbo Tax Not As Friendly as the Past

TurboTax was not as easy to use this year as the many other years I have used it. When I told it I didn't want to download interest/dividend info it continue to show up every time I manually entered the info. On deductions if you know that itemizing will not be above standard deduction then let us choose standard deduction and not go through all deductions. First time I've had to pay federal taxes and your direct debit was confusing in that it asked for amount to deduct from bank but would not let me enter it. It apparently does it automatically at the end. The search mechanism did not allow me to enter a question had to choose from selections which was not the question I had. Had to go to Help Center to get answer but had to work at it. It would not let me print Transmission Confirmation.

Used Turbo Tax for years and years and years

Have used Turbo Tax for years and years and years. Through filing single, married, with 2 business schedule C's, employee W2s etc. Great program and always able to get any questions answered or help I required.

TurboTax Make Life Easier

TurboTax Deluxe makes a complex situation much simpler than filling out the forms manually. My situation is complex because I have two investment firms to enter data from, including taxable and non-taxable investment income, a pension plan with lots of smaller details. Being able to download all of the 1099 transactions from the investment firms is a great feature ensuring accuracy.
