TurboTax makes it easy but pay attention.

Being walked through a return makes it easy to file. Word of advice: pay strict attention to how phrases are written and that will make things go smoothly. I almost double taxed myself because I thought I knew what they were asking, rather than paying attention to the specific instructions. My bad!

Need more help tips about pension payments

For the last 2 years I've struggled with the question about whether our State pensions (Fl, and GA) are fully or partially payments of the required amount by law. I called both states and got conflicting answers - one had no idea what I was talking about and the other said, because we were paid monthly, that all of the payment amount was considered the required amount. Very confusing as there is no good explanation provided by help tips. Please include this next year to make the process flow better.

I am using Turbotax for filing my federal and state taxes every year. I found it very helpful and gives more information to understand and get maximum refund and sure way of safe filing.

Second state return is expensive

I've used Turbo Tax for decades now, but this is the first time I had to file a second state. At $45 for an additional state is quite sporty considering the initial fed and state deluxe is $55. I'm not happy.
