your lobby forces me to use this or something like it, when it should not be necessary.
$45 to deduct filing fee from federal return? program crashes during use. too much invasion into privacy requiring keychain access. my wife keeps asking why I still use tt. great question. this will be the last year.

Turbo Tax can do better

Been using TT for many years. It is much easier to use these days. Back in the early days it was mostly a printing software with very little help filling out forms. The only improvement that I can suggest at this time would be to make the K-1 forms easier to fill out. Allow download of these from institutions providing them. Then automatically input into the proper location within Turbo Tax software.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

This program is an excellent program. i use it to help a few seniors with their taxes without a fee. it explains when you don't understand certain things. i view this product as awesome.

Very sketchy about details esp. for close out eCheck, credit card, deduction from Fed return, etc.
TT promises falsely "free filing". Details often show little more than a repeat of info.
