Turbo Tax is perfect for me!

I have used TurboTax for more than twenty years and have never had a problem. It is extremely well made and vert easy to use. I will continue to use TurboTax as long as I need to file tax returns.

At this point, I've been using Turbo Tax for what seems decades. Nothing about doing taxes is pleasurable, but painless is always the goal.
We didn't quite get there LAST year. Turns out the amount recomended for quarterly estimated taxes to Rhode Island was quite under-estimated, so I'm looking at some bigger numbers this year. I'll let you know if I get whacked again next year.

Some of the dividend income detail I thought was confusing, but overall, very good. The issue may be the info provided by the investment firm

A bug with savers credit

I prepared my return and my three children. It calculated the tax wrong on one of my children, but I was able to correct the issue by creating a new return without importing from last year. There must have been a flag or data point somewhere that was brought forward from previous year when she was a student/dependent. This setting was stopping her from qualifying for savers credit on form 8880.
