Difficult download

Getting starting was cumbersome!

The interface with the 2023 software would not work. I could not get the 2023 version to load as updates were needed for some reason. I also had updates for the 2024 version and could not get them to install as I received error 2503 and 1605. So I had to uninstall the 2024 version and reload causing to carry over information to be lost. Could not find a support number to call.

Disapointing Version

I have been using TurboTax since its inception. Next year I will be trying another vendor's product. We could not manually enter our INT information. The only option was to download the information from the various institutions website using the prompt. We did not have the account access information readily available but we had hard copies of the requested information required in previous versions of Turbotax. We did not find any help within the program. To workaround this shortcoming we had to manually enter the information into the tax form.

Turbo Tax met expectations as usual.

My only concern was when it came to the state return. It was with regard to E-filing the return. It appeared to me that I had to Efile because I E-filed my federal return. That would have cost me, so after some further review I realized I could mail the state in at no cost. Note: I didn't owe the state, nor did the state owe me.
