TurboTax works great

I have used TurboTax for the past 12 years. It has worked great for me. I have had issues a couple of times over the years and TurboTax help desk were great to work with and resoled the issues quickly and accurately.

Fast, easy & way chearper than a tax professional!

It's just so easy to use and it takes so very little time. I don't miss paying for a tax professional at all and if you have paid for a tax professional, you can always refer back to the prior year but I feel like TurboTax is so comprehensive and simple to use that I can finish my taxes in less time than it would take me to drive to the accountant and back home.

Watch out on amended returns

Last year I switched two numbers while manually entering the data (ex: 985 instead of 958)
I got an IRS statement with the amount I owed. I paid that amount after creating an amended return with your program. I then got an IRS statement with penalty and interest. Why didn't the IRS or YOU inform me when I used your program to create an amended return? I am not happy and will probably use the free online version next time. Why pay if you are not informing me what I owe? I understand it was my mistaken entry, but you and IRS should have given me the total amount for my silly typo.

TurboTax makes doing your own taxes a cakewalk!

As usual, TurboTax is excellent! I've used it for decades and it makes doing my own taxes so easy and reliable. My only complaint this year was with changes you made in it from last year, which was not as user intuitive, and it took several attempts to figure it out. It was, however, insignificant, and I can't even remember now what that section was!
