This year took longer

I've used Turbo Tax for at least 7 years now and this year seemed to take much longer. Also, all my 2023 info didn't show when the comparison was made between 2023 and 2024. Printing was an issue. Our returns are very similar to last year, so I feel confident everything was the same. Overall, this year hasn't been great and I will really consider using a professional accountant next year.

Turbo Tax is great

Great. I have used Turbo Tax for the last several years and find it so much easier to do our taxes. It also eliminates a lot of the stress trying to navigate the tax forms.

I tried to switch to H & R Block last year--- horrible!! Had to buy Turbo Tax to finish my 2023 return.
This year I bought the Turbo Tax software 2024 on line. SO easy to prepare and file a return!!~

Turbotax is useful but not flawless.

A little bit difficult to figure out, but we did it. Even though our return filing was rejected. The program didn't figure out the error until it was rejected by the feds.

I found TurboTax 2024 to be much less user friendly than prior versions.
The IRS Personal ID entry procedure was well hidden. It should be one of the last questions prior to filing.
You should have a HELP assistance by phone.
