Turbo Tax Review

This is my second year using it. The first year was fine; although it did take about an hour and a half to go through everything. This year, I uploaded my w-2 and somehow it noted the same amount in box 19 as in 17. This caused my return to be rejected and I had to spend more time figuring out the error. It wasn't intuitive to go back and correct the error because although it said it's an issue with the number on the schedule a, it's not easy to determine where that information is pulling from in the step by step or the form view. I did finally get it completed though and did not opt to receive any support because it's additional $60 which is more than I paid for the program.

Product kept freezing and some of the buttons didn't work. Failed to transmit e-file federal tax due internet transmition problem error that kept popping up.

Different CONTINUE button

I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years and have found it fairly easy to use. This year, I completed all the screens, had it checked for errors and was ready to hit the last "continue" button. I had trouble with that and could not figure out if it was the program or technical problems on my end. I called Turbo Tax on the phone for help and talked to a very helpful lady, but did not solve the problem. The next day I solved the problem on my own: All the continue buttons in the program required only one click. The last button required a DOUBLE CLICK!!! Please fix this so other people don't have the same problem.

Extremely Disappointed!!!

I am extremely disappointed with Turbo Tax. I paid for this today and expected to file today and it is not allowing me to print my return nor can I file. If you don't have a product that is ready for consumers to use then why don't you say this before I spent the money to buy this??

Download would not work

I have used Turbo Tax for over 20 Years with a Disc Installation. The Download was a bad experience because it kept taking me to a Free Federal Return. I deleted the Download and Reinstalled and it refuses to recognize the Print Command for my Records. But the Credit Card payment would print without a problem. Got a Flag To Report the Software Crash but it would not let me send it back to you.

Product is too expensive! Credit card fee is too high, there are other companies offering lower fees. Import function did not transfer all of my data.
