Turbo Tax is Good, BUT

The application is definitely easier than muddling through the 1040 booklet. HOWEVER, I was not prompted to input my IRS Identity Protection Pin, nor was there any information about needing it. It was only after completing the E-File that I realized that it wasn't used. I'm pretty (D word censored) certain that there will be issues with my filing. So, the overall rating would have been a 4 Star, but I deducted two for this oversight.

What is the point of this question?

$40 Refund Processing Fee for a federal return, when claiming a federal refund is included in the purchase price of the software, is a bait & switch tactic. You can have your lawyers argue otherwise, but in the end your marketing doesn't match the reality of the product you sell.

You are deceptive! I will never use your service again because:
1. I purchased a Deluxe package, to include one state, and you are charging me an additional $40.00!!
2. You don't make people aware of the EXTRA cost until they have consented to 'file.'

Have been using Turbo Tax for years. It has always been an easy way to complete your own taxes and 2024 taxes are as expected. Great product!
