I am struggling with Turbo Tax after many years

I have been using Turbo Tax for years and felt very good about it but this year was the hardest struggle I have had. I was too trusting and sent it off electronically sooner than I should have. Then I noticed that our treasury note interest was being taxed on our Iowa form and so I needed an amended return. (Even though I put the interest on the wrong line on the 1099 it seems like that should be an easy catch for TurboTax). Then when I tried to e-file the amended Iowa return it put me in an endless loop saying I had already e-filed. I don't know if there is a better software but I am considering trying to find one. Also, when I spotted inconsistencies I had a very hard time finding answers.

I'm done with TurboTax - Too many years of issues

Loaded with glitches this year. Many issues with inporting data from financial institutions. This was one of the few areas that I never had issues with before.

Estimated Tax Payment Issue

I had trouble with the state/local estimated tax payments section in the federal portion of the program. I entered the state portion of my estimated tax payments on the state page and entered the county portion of estimated taxes paid on the local page. However, on my state return only the state portion of the estimated payments appeared. I had to go back and reenter the county portion on the state page in order to have my estimated payments accurately appear.

TurboTax simplifies tax filing

I've used Turbo Tax for years and have been pretty happy with the software.
My taxes are simple, and don't take much time.
I've only used the Deluxe version and can't really advise on the other version.
This year 2024, I had a little bit of trouble installing and activating the software, I noticed it didn't show my 2023 taxes, however all the other years showed up.
Once downloaded, the program is straightforward and easy to navigate.

Easy to use and accurate but pointing a tax form is cumbersome.It use to be a very simple task because you didn't have to use adobe.
