Turbotax not so great this year

this year have to enter the same credentials info multiple times.
Also, calculations show I have a NH refund, yet the application states that I do not.
Will have to manually do my NH returns. I paid for the extra state return, can i get a refund?

Terrible experience with Desktop App.

Desktop App is terrible, not recommended for new people.
I saved it in a custom folder, the app. was unable to find the saved document. I spent two hours trying to find the saved document. As for the rest of the app. it is ok if no better tax software is available. I'm using turbo tax for the past 25+ years. there are still room for UI improvement.

Great Program, One Glitch.

have been using Turbo Tax for many years and overall I think the program is intuitive which is a plus. I do have one issue that I find frustrating. In previous years, if a 1099 was delayed until mid-March for example I would download the documents available and later download the delayed copy. If for some reason I mistakenly checked a box of a 1099 I downloaded, it would download it a second time and then I had to delete it. This year, being aware, I checked only the form that I needed and voila, the program deleted the 1099 forms I had previously downloaded since they were not checked. That should not happen.
It's Deductible is a clever program and helps immensely. The worksheets are helpful and makes reviewing for the upcoming year.

The program is straightforward and easy to use. I will admit there is a learning curve especially for some more complicated questions, but once you learn, it is very easy to use the software.

I like turbo tax and have used it for several years now. I miss the disks but the down load was OK. The only think that is driving me crazy is that you can get the federal and one state download plus 5 federal e files but , cant get the state e file and pay for it up front. I personally dont need 5 federal e files. I want to get a download version of turbotax where i can pay for federal and state download and e file FOR BOTH up front , so , I dont have to waste time paying for a state e file at the end when my taxes are done. It took me longer to pay for my state e file than it did to do my taxes.

Have been using TurboTax for quite a few years and have had no problems with the overall process.
My only complaint is with the amount of updates the software performs...usually one every time you log on!
How can a federal tax program set down a year ago need daily time-consuming updates?
