separate efile time/date would be nice

it would be nice to efile state and fed separately as we typically owe the fed and get $ back from the state.

Turbo Tax is a good option.

Most of it works well. Transfer of info from sources wasn't perfect (employer ID #). Had to make multiple entries for the same thing (HSA).

Pay $60 for software and to e-file you have to pay more. Questions are vague and leave you guessing if doing the right/wrong options. And says free assistance from someone, wrong that'll will cost you more money. Next year to save the software fee, and potential assistance will just go somewhere to have this completed and have more peace of mind that it was done correctly.

TurboTax makes tax filing easy and simple. Topics are searchable, in case you need clarity or self-help assistance on common items. It does all the calculations for you. We've been using TurboTax since 2018 and it didn't disappoint. If it needed updates, the software itself will prompt.
