scraping the bottom of the barrel

TT is no longer intuitive in its operation. Previous versions operated better. Others have iterated similar opinions to me. Bottom line .... 2024 TT sucked!

It worked well but I thought there would be a little more comparison between the 2023 and 2024 information to check and make sure of differences between 2023 and 2024.

TurboTax SPIFF reporting nightmare

Entering a SPIFF reported on 1099-MISC box 3 Other Income was a complete nightmare as TurboTax essentially forces it to be reported a self employed income unless you work how to answer questions. This has not happened in any recent years with the same other income reportec.Help and guidance was useless, had to google and research before I could figure it out.

Desktop needs significant updates

Desktop version significantly worse and counter intuitive. Licensing also weird too. The license I got for the desktop version doesn't cover the web version, though I can work on the web version and then download and file it there.
