E-Filing Issues

The entry of tax data and program navigation was easy. The program generated an error message when I attempted to e-file my taxes. It turned out the issue was associated with the California tax module. I attempted to e-file my Federal and State taxes together. A 'Failed_Validation' error was displayed that indicated that a TurboTax update was required. The 'Check for Update' feature indicated that the product was up to date. I contacted TurboTax support, and they gave me steps which helped to resolve my issue.

Every year I am amazed how Turbo Tax make filing my somewhat complicated federal and state taxes understandable and possible without paying for a tax accountant.

A Necessary Evil we shouldn't have to suffer

A necessary evil because the tax code is too complicated for those of us who represent the 90th percentile. My needs are simple, so why can't I file 100% for free. Including eFile which makes less work for all. To pay additional just adds insult to injury. To pay our taxes we have to pay Intuit as well!

TurboTax helps make filing taxes easy and worry free. I still dread sitting down to begin the process of filling taxes but once I open up the TurboTax file, it always goes smoothly.

Some issues

The State MO form is missing the printed Routing number and the account number! If I miss adding this info manually the state sends a check! This info is printed on the Federal 1040 but missing on Mo form. Same thing happened last year.
