TurboTax is very clear to use.

I don't have a complicated tax situation, so TurboTax desktop is perfect for me. This year however, I got stuck in a loop that wouldn't fix itself (something in TurboTax). I reviewed the help center and found a fix. It worked!

Turbo Tax, still confusing at times.

Your instructions could be better when it came to e-filing and printing the returns for review. I didn't feel that I needed to print them to review because of the many times I did so when entering the information needed. I only intended to file the Federal return today and finish the state return tomorrow, so I only printed the federal return. The instructions then carried through the rest of the filing. I found that I couldn't print the state as I thought I could so had to go back and figure out how to print just the state. I found the spot to print both returns and figured out how many pages made up the state return and instructed the printer to only. print pages 40 to 57 because those were the pages that made up the state return. So I made more work for myself because the instructions could have been more clear about printing the returns for review

No Debit Confirmation for Taxes Due

I started using TurboTax decades ago. It has grown more complicated over the years, as has my tax situation. This year I wanted IRS to directly debit my account for the amount of taxes due, but while such an option briefly appeared, it was not available at the end when I e-filed my return. I shall have to mail in a check to pay my tax bill, instead of an easy transfer from my account. TurboTax is deteriorating.

I like TurboTax. A few things seem redundant.But overall it beats paying someone to do my taxes since they are so simple.
