Alabama State Turbotax

Would have rated 5 STARs if there would have been more help information/details for Alabama state return. Had issue where TurboTax would not let me e-file either State return with a state payer ID number being included on 1099-R even though there was no Alabama income associated with this 1099-R. (There was Federal or State income associated with this 1099-R which was just documenting a 401K Roth conversion with no associated gains. I spent time trying to get this Alabama Payer ID number for Fidelity Investments 401K account with no luck. Tried contacting Fidelity 401K plan and they were unable to help. Eventually entered 'AL' for State and State payer ID to get Turbo Tax to allow e-filing.

Turbo Tax was problematic this year

Had an issue with state tax software - It picked up an additional state that I could not delete _ I restarted and got it to work fine. I always start from a previous year tax return. Never had a problem before ?
