Confusing to get started

I bought the downloadable version and while trying to register it, you guys tried to direct me to the online service for $50 more. Very poor quality experience just getting started. Figure it out!!

I couldn't download tax information from fidelity - it would not recognize my password and in the end I had to do it by hand !!

TurboTax - solid platform

I've used Turbotax for decades now. Generally, it is always a solid platform. Over the last couple of years, I have used the online version, but this year, I started with the online and ultimately purchased the desktop version. The biggest reason was that the online version no longer showed the "Refund" amount as the desktop version. I like to watch the refund/owed amount change as I input various pieces of information. It's a quick check to see if I am doing something wrong. If I see a significant change in the amount, I need to investigate further to ensure I am doing things correctly.
A big feature request for me is in regard to the investment account tax form listing. There were several instances where TurboTax alerted me to an issue with an investment tax form, but I did not know what account it was referencing. Therefore, I had to go through line by line to track down which account. Some of my accounts are individual, joint, or 401k. If correlation between account number and tax form could be supported, it would save time and headaches.

Not happy with problems over the last two years

Your RMD calculations were terrible. Waited 2 weeks for an update.
