Please make standard deduction easier

I used TurboTax Deluxe. I don't own a home and always need only the standard deduction. It would be very time saving if I could check that box at the beginning to avoid answering the full questionnaire. I understand that some information is needed to assure the maximum refund, but you could ask for rough estimate values for that purpose. Perhaps if that box was checked, for the case of automobile registration you could prompt that this amount was part of the standard deduction, just enter a rough estimate rather than require me to go out in the snow to get my paperwork and to drive 100 miles round trip to retrieve my motorhome paperwork.

Extremely Misleading Purchase of "Premium Service"

Function of TurboTax is great but it is too easy to accidentally purchase the $45 "premium service" right at the end. It is extremely misleading and the software is not upfront on what you are getting charged for. Almost feels like a scam.

Turbo Tax is more than just AWESOME!

Have been using the Turbo Tax Deluxe DeskTop Version for years. I just don't know how they can program something so complex as this, but it's a real miracle. It simplifies tax preparation and with help a phonecall away, can't ask for anything more. As I had a complex situation this year, I opted for Live Tax Advice and couldn't be more satisfied with it. Worth every cent I paid for it and more. With the expert help, I could then sleep at night, confident that my taxes were correct. Realistically, not every contact fits into the excellent category, but you can always call back again and hopefully get someone better. Highly recommend Turbo Tax .

Easy to install, last year's info available, easy to print/PDF and easy to file. I've used Turbo Tax for years with great success. Need to be able to print parts of return as you go. More info in Turbo Tax on deleting bad pages and starting over without relying on bad info on the web.
