Turbo tax is the best way to do your own taxes.

I had no problem entering all my information, but I did have a question when doing the review before e-filing and spoke with one of your representatives who answered my question and walked me through the process of changing what I needed to do to resolve the problem.

Not happy with software

I found that this year there were many weaknesses in the system. I was unable to go back to original information on the 4797 to change the form. If I deleted it on the form, I was unable to efile.
My son lives and works in VT, and the return kept showing income that needed to be allocated to NJ. Have no idea why.
I'm a retired CPA, and accustomed to expensive tax software, so felt turbotax to be very weak.

TurboTax is my choice

I had a few issues. Turbo tax put amounts in that I don't know how they were calculated.

Turbo Tax Does it all

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and have found it to be easy to use. You just follow the program along as it takes you through every area of possible impact for your tax return. It is best that you assemble or your tax documents in an organized manner by category so the Turbo Tax can lead you along. Relatively quick and easy to use. And explanations of the tax process are available as you proceed.
