Not as user friendly as prior year TurboTax Deluxe

I found it more difficult than it has been in prior years to go in and find errors I had made and correct them. It also seemed like I had to print everything if I just wanted a copy of one worksheet.
I'm not as happy with this year's TurboTax as I have been previously.

Very easy to locate schedule to complete and print to mail or transmit to the Federal without a fee. Wish Virginia would follow Fed's suit for free transmitting.

One problem after another and this year’s return took forever. At the start of filling in information, there was no way to skip the screen that asks if I’ve donated to the same charities as last year. Why can’t I skip that and come back later??? Also, big problem: The program didn’t pull properly from brokerage accounts. I almost wound up not including some income. When adding some 1099 info, one screen told me I had to find information about the type of income and add it to a form. But it didn’t link to the form or tell me how to find it. This held me up for at least an hour. For this year, the “its deductible” program is shrunken on the screen and has a font so small that I can’t read it. And as in previous years, it’s impossible to make the TT screen bigger on my laptop screen which makes it hard to work on filling it in.

TurboTax is a failure in my mind.

I've used Turbo Tax for many years, and this version of Turbo Tax is the worst! Multiple problems with the software, including the simple task of submitting my federal taxes by e-filing. System said We're experiencing internet transmission problems and transmission did not go through. Called help center and she finally told me to get out of Turbo Tax and shut down my computer, then restart everything. FINALLY got it to accept my return! On top of that, turbo tax would not let me file my Ohio tax return electronically. I said I had Other Ohio Withholdings but no associated income document entered in Federal return. I asked a professional tax preparer about it and he said "never heard of it. must be a turbo tax thing". So, I had to physically mailed my tax documents to Ohio Dept of Taxation. In this age of electronics, this is absurd!
