Good, but PAY ATTENTION!

I have used TT for many years and overall have had good experience. It has identified true problems that I was able to solve myself. However, this time there was an error that left me at a loss, so I paid extra for Live Advice. Again, my assistant was competent and able to walk me through and finalize ok, but neither of us could explain the glitch that had dramatically increased my income and taxes. It was different in 2 different locations, when all my original entries appeared accurate. SO my advice is to review all work, because they are not always accurate. Having the opportunity to get live advice is helpful, and they called me back in 5 mins. But I DID have to pay an extra $60.

TurboTax is awful

Terrible this year. Can't print anything. Entering interest and dividends was a nightmare - all about silly formatting of boxes on the screen - I want to be able to enter my numbers line by line. Impossible to check the numbers easily before submitting - can't even figure out exactly where the pre-paid tax comes from etc. Crappy software. Switching next year.

Good Product

Easy to use and a time saver. Would like to have better clarification on INT from Treasury Direct. Their 1099 is on-line and does not have Boxes. I initially put the interest on the wrong line which increased my California Taxes.
