hard to use

I started my State forms and did not answer some questions so I left the State to check on some things when I tried to get back in it would not let me continue piece of crap. I have been a turbo tax customer as long as it came on the market will not use again. I am 86 years old and find this years product cumbersome , redundant and hard to use

Let me down this year

Disappointed in handling of IRA RMDs this year. If one IRA had $0 RMD and it all was taken from a second IRA account distribution, TurboTax did not handle that well. At least I did not know how to answer the questions to make TurboTax happy. When I would go back to work on IRA forms, total IRA value for 12/31/2024 (needed since I have a basis for traditional IRAs) kept being zeroed out when I came back through step-by-step.

Problems, but the Turbotax reps were GREAT

We had several problems with the 2024 tax software.
The most cumbersome problem was, after while working on entering data, we saved and closed the program, with plans on continuing the next day. When I opened the program the next day, by clicking the icon, it took me to a window that said "Welcome" and something like Lets start your taxes, instead of having the blocks where you continue your return. I immediately called Turbotax, and the representative walked me through transferring the 2024 data files (PDF file included) which should have had my data in them, but when transferred, the files only contained my personal information. So I had to re-enter the data again.
I had a couple other problems that I don't remember what they were but they weren't as crucial, such as finding a specific section, or if Turbotax would have had some special notes telling what to do for specific situations, would have been a lots of help; some things just left you hanging and wandering what to do.
All situations were quickly resolved with the help of Turbotax's representatives. They were of GREAT help.
