The software is good, I've been using it for about 30 years. But the experience and cost of obtaining it has gone down hill. Even with a TurboTax Advantage you get the software auto billed every year, but trying to find where to download it from the website is a nightmare. You go in endless loops trying to find it, until you finally do, and then have to login multiple times and go through no less then 4x 2 factor authentications to even get the software. TurboTax has been my go to software for almost as long as I've been employed, but the experience to obtain it this year I think has finally broken me and I'll be looking for different software next year.

Very clean and logical software. Have been using since your year one.
Today, however, one problem. State Return had a silly tracking option built in to the end of the software. No need for that.
Also, printing the Fed Return was not as seamless as all these years before. Too may obstacles before getting to the final print.

TurboTax needs to update their software carefully!

For many years TurboTax has been wonderful. However, this year you let me down! My husband passed away in November 2024. My original filing was accepted by the IRS and VA. However, a few days later I received an updated 1099-SM-UD form, so I filed an amended tax form and e-filed it, as was recommended. VA accepted but the IRS rejected it. Your instructions were to go back into my file and you'd walk me through it. Right! Nowhere was a choice of a rejected federal (ind-901) and a walk through. I searched the entire file! So, I went online and searched IND-901and found out that if the primary died I would have to MAIL MY RETURN!!! Please explain this error in your software! I'm sure I was not the only one to have a spouse die last year! It would have been easy to put in a filing paragraph the ind-901 requirement. Your software already noticed that my husband had died so why not include the ind-901 REQUIREMENT OF MAILING MY TAXES?! I certainly will think twice about using TurboTax next year. The hassle that I endured during this stressful time wasn't worth it due to your software error.
