TurboTax

We have used TurboTax for years and have always found it to be very straightforward. One complaint might be that it is not real easy to find information on deduction limits and what that means and how that might relate to standard deductions. It changed several years ago and we have never figured out what the changes were and how they effect us other than out taxes owed seems to have risen pretty significantly. I know this is not necessarily the responsibility of TurboTax to complete your annual return but it is nice and helpful to see what changes from year to year. It would also be nice to show more than two years for comparison. It may be there, but having a link to tax tables might be nice as well.

A nasty flaw

All good, except: If one uses the option to pay the filing fee with the return the program adds a fee of $45 for Premium Service. One cannot opt out. Unless, you switch and pay by credit card, then only the State filing fee of $25 applies.
Please advise how to get the $45 back that my son and my daughter inadvertently paid.
