Turbo Tax Delux 2024

My download would not activate and I had to order the disk from Intuit. It was saying not internet access which was funny since I was using the internet at the same time trying to find a fix. That would still not activate until I removed Read Only fron all the files based on what information I could find on-line. Then I could not download my W2 like previous year. Seems to have lost the table of contents so I could go back to specific entries to check or restart an entry. Was not happy and have been usiing Turbo Tax for almost two decades. Transmitting taxes also took two tries as there was a "problem." I will consider long and hard if I use TT next year which is disappointing. I will NOT do it on-line!!!!

Good Tax Return Service

Originally I gave Turbo Tax a 1 star rating because I couldn't see the small print size of the scrolled forms for printing and as a result I didn't see that my state tax form(s) were hidden in the middle of the scrolled roll. But, when I went back to amend my tax return my eyes were functioning better that day and I could barely see my state tax forms. So, I increased my rating to 4 star leaving off the 5th star until that scroll of forms is enlarged.

Format is more difficult than previous years and the printout of my forms was not in order and confusing with state forms.

Up sales around every corner! One would think purchasing the software for state and federal would be all inclusive, but no. Turbotax makes sure to hit you with a 25 dollar fee to e-file your state taxes, what a crock. This is the last year I will be using this subpar, pandering product.

I Liked the older versions better where you could access information about a tax item directly on-line when you had a question rather than buying the add-on that you may not need or only for one question.

The program does a great job of walking you through the process step by step. We have a pretty basic tax situation so it's great to save significant money by being able to complete our yearly tax returns on our own.
