Love the product but don't like the 5 EFile limit

Love TT and have used it for more than 13 years. I wish they allowed more than 5 E files as I have 5 kids in various states and they work across state lines.

Some programming glitches

Seems like some programming issues. In several places, ctrl-2 didn't work to change to Forms view, although using the pull-down menu did. And right-click in many places didn't work to bring up the little dialog box that allows me to add multi-line details to an entry...and even using the drop-down menu was flaky about that. In some cases coming back to the same field then DID let me add details.
I also really wish that adding information about income from U.S. government obligations and state-specific bonds allowed a pop-up that asked for the $ amount from a specific fund, and the % that was state tax free, and did the arithmetic for me. Yeah, I can do the arithmetic myself, but it is easier to make sure that everything is right if I enter the raw data and Turbotax computes the amount for each fund, then totals it up for me.
Nonetheless, I like Turbotax better than other software I've used.

Turbo Tax has become a bit more complicated to fill out. I'm not sure if its the software or the new policies.

I have always loved Turbo Tax and how it walks you through everything. I was a little flustered this year with having to buy digital since they stopped making the discs... I wish they would have just sold a flash drive to launch from, but I got there in the end with the download.

It works most of the time, however,
1. The interview flow is clunky and the process is quite lengthy when making a small revision.
2. Importing is poorly organized and I had to manually remove duplicates - why not starting with importing everything that was imported last year?
3. Federal penalty interview is confusing - after annualizing income, why automatically select "I don't want to annualize" and cancel out all the work?
4. State tax is worse than rudimentary. Doesn't even show what state income is added or excluded.
5. State penalty interview is basically "do your own calculation" and not helpful at all. It's amazing that you still have not figured it out after being in this business for decade.

TURBO TAX SUCKS

AS MUCH MONEY AS WE SPEND AND THEY MAKE THINGS SO COMPLICATED. NOT ONLY THAT THEY DON'T EVEN OFFER HELP. AT THIS POINT I COULD HAVE JUST PAID SOMEONE TO DO IT.
