TurboTax has been a great way to file my taxes for years. The step-by-step process is clear and concise. Also having the "help" button is a very nice feature.

Turbo Tax is Good and Almost Great!

I find Turbo Tax helpful except for some of the tax terminology and some of the abbreviation titles can be confusing especially for this old timer. However. overall, I highly recommend Turbo Tax.

For the common guy, it is money well invested

I have been using Turbo Tax for some time, and it is helpful in filling my very simple paperwork as a retired person. My life is simplistic for the most without any big investments or owning lot of properties so, the Turbo Tax program fit my needs. For a person with a more complicated financial matter, I am not sure if Turbo Tax will be the way to go or will be better to hire a license CPA to assist you.

1099-S is a FAIL

While the tax software works well for the most part, it does not handle a 1099-S well at all. Even after entering the data for a 1099-S, the review of this data displays as a 2099-B. I had to go back through the entry several times to ensure that it was correct.
